The platforms we compare

Each one holds a MiCA licence that we checked ourselves in the register of ESMA, the EU’s securities markets regulator.

Three steps

How the comparison works

  1. Choose a coin and an amount

Then how you pay: by card or from your euro balance. One tap in the app, or your own order on the trading screen.

  2. We do the maths

With each platform’s live prices, order by order against its order book. Every fee and the app markup included.

  3. You see what you get

Net, in crypto, ranked. The platform that gives you the most for your euros comes first.

Calculated instantly

Pick a coin and the comparison runs straight away. Choose from the top 100 by market cap.

Independent

Why you can trust the ranking

Fair order

Cheapest first. Every time.

Only the amount of crypto you end up with decides the order, after every fee has been counted.

3 min

No stale prices

If a platform’s data is more than three minutes old, we show no numbers and tell you why.

Licensed platforms only

We only compare platforms whose MiCA licence we have checked ourselves in the EU register.

No account, no advice

You don’t need to sign up for anything. We show what it costs; which coin you buy is your call. Read how we compare

Frequently asked questions

Which crypto platform is cheapest in Europe?

It depends on the coin, the amount and how you pay. That is why we work it out for your situation with live prices: the platform at the top gives you the most crypto for your euros right now.

What does it cost to buy crypto?

Usually three things: a fee for the payment method, a trading fee and, in many apps, a markup on the price. The cost breakdown under each result shows them separately.

What is MiCA?

MiCA is the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation. Since July 2026, crypto platforms need a MiCA licence from a national regulator to serve customers in the EU. A licence means the platform is supervised; it does not make crypto itself any less risky.

Can I use these platforms in my country?

A MiCA licence lets a platform serve other EU countries after it has notified its home regulator. Not every platform offers every coin or payment method everywhere, so check on the platform before you sign up. A country filter is on its way.

Why isn’t Binance on the list?

We only compare platforms with a MiCA licence. Binance was not in ESMA’s register of licensed crypto-asset service providers when we last checked it (version of 7 October 2026).

Why does the price chart show US dollars?

Crypto prices are most often quoted in US dollars, so the chart starts there. You can switch it to euros or pounds. The comparison itself is always in euros, because that is what you pay on these platforms.
